Meet Our Amazing Paper Makers

Darren Simpson

Darren Simpson

Darren was one of many apprentice paper makers that started with the company in the days it was a ‘new opportunities programme’.

He left for a couple of years, but decided to go back to doing something he was good at and passionate about and has now been a paper maker at Creative Paper for 12 years. He creates a lot of our new papers and was the first to form a sheet of Roo Poo! In the days the company was in financial despair Darren as well as our other paper maker Dean volunteered to keep the business running.

Dean Jupp

Dean Jupp

Dean other wise known as Deno has been with Creative Paper Tasmania for 8 years.

As mentioned above, along with Darren, Dean volunteered to keep the business running when it was close to folding. Dean has also been instrumental in developing new papers, in particular the native leaf paper that is made to cover one of our most popular journals and photo album range.
