background information

The idea for the mill was conceived in the mid 1990’s by members of the creative living centre, including a woman by the name of Jane tanner- now Jane Tenyeswood  in conjunction with Charles Turner a chemist from Australian paper as a new opportunitites programme scheme to assist Burnie’s unemployed develop new skills.
