Come and visit with us at the mill

Each Year thousands of visitors come to the mill to experience at first hand the creative process at work.

As well as daily tours, the Mill is home to a number of local artists who can be viewed sculpting or painting in their studios. Workshops occur at intervals during the year and visitors are welcome to view them in progress and admire the finished work! Our staff responsible for bookbinding and general dispatch can also be seen going about their tasks and are only too happy to explain the detail of their work. Best of all, visitors can try their hand at forming their own sheets of paper in the Visitor Papermaking Room.
